Rabat – The dispatch of emergency humanitarian aid to the Palestinians, upon the Highest Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, is undoubtedly part of the Kingdom of Morocco’s constant support to the Palestinian cause, stressed the Director of Publication of the daily Al Ittihad Al Ichtiraki, Abdelhamid Jmahri.
Morocco has provided concrete support to the Palestinian people through humanitarian aid sent to the Palestinians on the very high instructions of HM the King, while reiterating its categorical rejection of all violations and unilateral measures that affect the legal status of Al Quds and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to achieve their aspirations for freedom and independence, noted Mr. Jmahri, who was a guest on the program (Ma Waraa Al Hadath), broadcast on Medi 1 TV.
He added that since the establishment of the Al-Quds Committee and the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency, Morocco provides a large part of support for the agency (nearly 70%), aimed at preserving the holy city of Al-Quds and face attempts to change its legal status.
He stressed that Morocco’s efforts in this framework have never ceased since the Moroccan neighborhood, with their unwavering commitment to protect the Holy City.
Morocco, in parallel, works within the Arab League, as a member of the Arab Ministerial Committee, to put an end to illegal Israeli policies in occupied Al Quds Committee responsible for relations with the countries of the world, especially the United Nations and the Security Council, created after the last meeting of the League, he said.
HM King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al Quds Committee, had given His Highest Instructions for the dispatch of emergency humanitarian aid to the Palestinian population in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, he said.
This humanitarian aid, consisting of 40 tons, is composed of basic foodstuffs, emergency medicines and blankets, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans living abroad.
